OBIE is proud to announce that its production of Alternatives to Hysterectomy has been awarded First Place in the 2009 ACOG* Film Festival this May in Chicago at the 57th Annual Meeting of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
The video demonstrates our conservative technique of Laparoscopic Multiple Myomectomy for numerous and large fibromas (benign fibroid tumors).
According to Dr. Rotman, this procedure could prevent "hundreds of thousands of unnecessary hysterectomies per year in the US alone."
